NBA Stats Tuesday- The Old Guys are Good. Grant Hill is a Teenager.

Each week of the NBA season brings about more astounding, remarkable, hard to believe and sometimes mind boggling stats. This should sum them up for you.

Miami is currently the #6 seed in the eastern Conference at 8-6. One more loss would have them out of the playoffs if they were in the West.

The best record in the NBA belongs to the San Antonio Spurs at 12-1. They are also the second highest scoring team in the league. Not bad for a bunch of grandpas.

New Orleans is undefeated at home. Take that George W Bush!

Eric Gordon is the 7th leading scorer in the NBA at 23.6 ppg. Unfortunately he plays for the Clippers.

Who is JaVale McGee and why is he holding these balls?

JaVale McGee leads the NBA in blocks at 2.83 pg. In other news, who the heck is JaVale McGee?!

Rudy Gay is first in minutes per game, all the while proving to those that watch him that he is indeed not a real homosexual.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. I just wanted to write that.

Grant Hill is 38 years old, but after all his surgeries he legally has the legs of a 17 year old.

Pau Gasol leads the league in double doubles. Glen Davis leads the league in double chins.

Charlie Villanueva is 8th in the league in 3-pointers made with 29. Apparently Detroit hired Stevie Wonder as their coach. Must be a Motown promotion.

Your two worst free throw shooters in the NBA are Dwight Howard and Blake Griffin. Both former #1 picks.

That’s it for this week. Tune in each Tuesday for a stats roundup. Hopefully more fulfilling than the week before it.
